Meaning of the 5 Structures

Your 5 structure is derived from the element relationship of the element and your day master.

Using Joey Yap's chart, it's already all plotted our for you at the bottom left hand corner of the chart:

In the above example, it's derived from a Fire Day Master person. Also, it shows us how strong each element is in our own chart. The brown area is derived from our natal chart which is always the same, and the red area is derived based on our natal chart and the influence of the current or upcoming year (see the year pillar in chart to determine if it's based on the current year or upcoming year). 

We mainly need to know what's the top 2 strongest element in your chart as well as what's the weakest element. Let's look at the natal chart area in example:

• The strongest element in this chart is Influence, which means this person is someone who likes/desire to have power. This translates to a potential to be in a higher ranking position in their company. For female, it could also mean that their spouse is very important to them as influence for a female is their spouse. As it shows 90%, this person may display both the positive and negative side of the influence star element as it is too strong. We like something between 65 - 85%
• The 2nd strongest is Output, which is 80%, a good ratio to have. This means that person is very creative and innovative. For female, it could also mean that they like children as output to a female is their children.
• The weakest element in this chart is their Wealth & Resources as they both look to be around 40%, which means the wealth and resource of this person is their useful god, it's something that brings them comfort and happiness in their life. Which means if they work on making money and support from others, they would have a contented life but it doesn't mean that they would be rich as weakest element means, it is the area in which they tend to be lacking as well.

In summary here's what element of the 5 Structure mean:

1. Influence: Power
2. Wealth: Money (for male, can also be their spouse)
3. Output: creativity (for female, can also be their children)
4. Companion: friends and network
5. Resource: support from others. Could also mean the wealth that you are born with or something others give you.
